14 Weeks

We just had our 2nd OB visit this morning. All is good. Heart beat was 150. We could hear kicks or "burps" as Nancy called them at first. Next visit in 4 weeks and we have to have a "special" visit to some other place for the 20 week sonogram for "at risk" pregnancies. There was some official acronym and term the Dr. used, but we had a chuckle. Once you hit the 35 mark you fall into that "at risk" category.
With more and more people having babies after 35 these days it seems commonplace. I can't even imagine how "at risk " my mom was considered with me 30+ years ago when she was in her late 30's.
Not much else to report.

This was last week at 13 weeks.
The daily question is, "Is that baby, or gas that is showing???"
No real weight gain yet, maybe 1-2lbs.
